1. Playing mermaid.
  2. Christmas tree decorating! The bird, the hare and the star are
all nestling happily in the branches this year.

  6. Chirstmas is fast approaching, so to get in the festive spirit,
I made a few little tree stars following this tutorial.
They’re so fun to make - I only stopped because I ran out of clay!

  9. I collected some leaves a while ago to use for printing - I’ve only
just had the film developed, but I’ve still got the prints hanging
on the wall. They’re so pretty!

  11. A trip to a graveyard on Halloween… This place is stunning.
I’ll definitely be returning to this little church soon with my film camera!

  12. I’ve been knitting away at this tea cosy for a while now. It’s a gift for my
patient Daddio whose birthday has long
passed … Here’s hoping he likes it enough to forgive the wait!

(You should have seen the first pom pom I made … it was MAMMOTH)!

  13. I’m so grateful to have a green space I can visit easily.
These photos were taken in a nearby park, where autumn is gradually
taking hold. I’m looking forward to our first London winter, but for now I am more excited for orange, yellow, red and gold tree tops.

  14. Recently, while Corvus and I were exploring, we found a little charity shop
tucked away in one of the streets, only a five minute walk away from our front door!
Needless to say, we often pop in for a quick look around. On our last trip there,
I spotted this jacket hidden in a rail of suit blazers and winter coats.
It is so far away from my usual style that I am not really sure what made me pick it up, but I took it for a whirl in the shop’s little changing room and absolutely fell in love!

It is handmade, without a doubt, and someone put a lot of time and love into
this jacket. Each of those little leather diamonds has been crocheted together, the collar and cuffs have been knitted and the lining is attached by ladder stitch.
It fits me perfectly and is so comfortable, I think that sometimes things are just waiting patiently for you to find them, and this was one of those times!
